Everton turned in a sublime performance to beat Man United 3-1 and leave Goodison Park rocking yet again. Suddenly the talk is all about a top 6, 5 or even 4 finish and it does make you wonder how the season might have panned out without so many injuries and the Lescott saga damaging our early season form.

Everton couldn't have hoped for a better opportunity to win at Anfield for the first time since 1999. But even with Torres out, Gerrard off-form and the home team down to ten men after half an hour, Everton squandered the opportunity in a fiesty encounter in which they simply didn't create enough chances.

Jack Dowden Jack Dowden - I was around 20 when I realised if I was to pursue my interest in the beautiful game it would probably be best for all involved that I stayed as far away from the pitch as possible. After several years searching for my niche within the game, I stumbled across Blogging, which brings together perfectly my two strengths and passions, English and Football.
