What a quiet week and a bit it's been in Chelsea-ville!
Part of me is hoping that one of our player's is outed as having an affair with Jose Mourinho's missus - if not just to psych out the special one for next week's tantalising second leg against Inter - probably the tie of the competition so far.
News this week is all of Joe Cole's impending exit, Anelka and Ballack signing new deals and Cech making his return to replace Hilarious earlier than expected and Captain fantastic John Terry thanking us, the loyal fans.
Of course we also have the upcoming match against the West Ham, of course managed by former Messiah Gianfranco Zola!

I have never really had a dislike for West Ham, they play good football and always have done, and their fans always ensure a great atmosphere season-in season-out. For me they are one of the Premier League's last vestiges of a typically English team, although Zola appears to be addressing that.
However much I like playing West Ham, I love seeing us securing three points in a tricky derby, especially in a week where Arsenal face Hull and Man United play Fulham at Old Trafford - we clearly have the more difficult of the three matches on the weekend.
Frank Lampard is always up for the games against his former team, I'm hoping he can play as well as he did against Stoke in the quarter-final of the FA Cup last week where he showed his former form, something I feel has been missing for large parts of this season.
Even if he is still on track for twenty league goals once again.
One advantage we have this weekend is that we haven't had to saunter to easy victories in Europe. Fresher legs and minds could well see us having yet another advantage over our fellow title chasers.
Who knows, in this bizarre season of twists and turns we could well be back in pole position come Monday morning. Or not!

West Ham home harder than Fulham home . . . we'll see.
Didn't realise the Stoke game was a semi-final . . . why wasn't it played at a neutral venue?

Whoops, cheers for pointing that out Rob!
Think West Ham in a derby situation is more tricky than Fulham for sure. Like you say we'll see.

Fulham are next to useless on the road, you never know what you are going to get with West Ham and as said before its a Derby game. Three points and no more injuries are needed at SW6.

actually it was a quarter finals, we are now in the semi finals with Aston Villa. Carlo realy knows how to get Chelsea fans upset, i cant even predict a result against West Ham because of our poor form, and u know to be honest, i wouldnt play Lampard, he's just not the same, and i keep saying this, you cant play 2 defensive midfielders in Ballack and Mikel, your killing the team man!! Can anyone vote for me to be coach, i wouldve bought Tevez, Aguero, some better defenders and a creative midfielder because thats wat we r lacking right now. please anyone

Chelsea is not reliable now with their current form. The Ancelloti formation is killing now. Anelka should play more attacking football than dressing the ball left and right.

I THINK CHELSEA PLAY WELL AGAINST WEST HAM. I KNOW THAT IF WE ARE TOP FORM NO ONE CAN BEAT US. I KNOW WE CAN WIN INTER SO LETS DO IT..

i want Drogba and Anelka to harding their attacking force b/c inter defenders are very strong,on like the first match Drogba and Anelka are not in the game so they need to harding up their position.please Malouda should not play at the left foot back b/c inter will used that wing to enter the 18 yard box and secondly we are not using Cech or hilaro please the defenders has to be strong and the milfilders has to short out of 18 yard box the is why i miss Essien.so every players have strong and forcused for inter match.

Drogba is becoming quite a disgrace to the club. Everytime we fail to qualify for the next round or lose it ends up with Drogba being sent off. There is no graciousness in defeat in the man.

Drogba is a fantastic player that always hold his head any time any day, he is a thret to somany people even including the refrees, that is why they hate his gut.He was never and he will never be a disgrace to the club and the fans.

I tuohght they linked up a lot better than they have done in recent weeks. I also tuohght the swap of Ramires for Essien helped and Essien's distribution was woeful.
