Following a perfect start to the season on the pitch, there has been lots of activity off the pitch in the week leading up to Blackpool's tough test at the Emirates this Saturday.

The Seasiders snapped up another key player this week, signing Israeli international defender Dekel Keinan. The former Maccabi Haifa player has signed a one year deal with the option of a second year. The 25 year old is Holloway's seventh signing of the season and goes into contention for selection against Arsenal.

Earlier this week Karl Oyston shocked Pool fans by stepping down as Chairman and Director of the Football Club. Since Mr Oyston's announcement, various rumors have been flying around in the local and national press.

There have been suggestions that Oyston is on the verge of bankruptcy, and had to step down under Premier League rules. It has also been said that Oyston has had enough of dealing with greedy agents and their extortionate transfer fees.

Either way, Tangerine fans have been assured that Karl Oyston's relationship with Ian Holloway has not changed and his decision will not affect any possible signings or the continuous development of Bloomfield Road.

Oyston takes a new title of Chief Executive until the end of the season. From what I have gathered, Karl Oysten will still very much be a huge part of Blackpool FC, and it seems to me that the man is very disciplined with his own budget and does not want to deal with agents and their demanding fees in the Premier League.

Let us not forget that on Saturday Blackpool take on the Gunners at the Emirates sitting in one of the Champions League places that Arsenal hope to be in come the end of the season. Despite the 4-0 away win at Wigan, pundits are still predicting a comprehensive Arsenal victory and the bookies still have Pool as 1/3 favorites for the drop.

The start that Ollie's men have made has led to everybody in football talking Tangerine. What do pundit's and book makers know? Lets enjoy another thrilling display of attacking football at the Emirates. Cesc and Arsene beware.
