Blackpool came back down to earth with an almighty thump as Theo Walcott and his Arsenal team mates gunned down the Seasiders 6-0 at the Emirates on Saturday.

The turning point came half an hour into the game when referee Michael Jones gave last man Ian Evatt his marching orders for a foul on Marouane Chamakh, subsequently awarding Arsenal a penalty kick.

Andrey Arshavin stepped up to slot home the spot kick to give Arsenal a two goal advantage leaving Blackpool to play an hour of football away to Arsenal with only 10 men.

The game as a contest was effectively over and Arsenal could have ended up with double figures.

Following a perfect start to the season on the pitch, there has been lots of activity off the pitch in the week leading up to Blackpool's tough test at the Emirates this Saturday.

The Seasiders snapped up another key player this week, signing Israeli international defender Dekel Keinan. The former Maccabi Haifa player has signed a one year deal with the option of a second year. The 25 year old is Holloway's seventh signing of the season and goes into contention for selection against Arsenal.

How many of you Seasiders went to bed last night dreaming that Ollie's men would be standing tall at the top of the Premier League table come 5 o'clock Saturday evening?

Blackpool has done exactly that after an unforgettable opening day hammering north-west rivals Wigan 4-0 in their own back yard.

Goals from Gary Taylor-Fletcher, debutant Marlon Harewood (2), and Alex Baptiste gave the away fans unforgetable memories of their side's first ever game in the Premier League.
