A great start as we dominated the first half, Three central midfielders in Robbie Savage, Paul Green and Stephen Pearson, Lee Croft and Gary Teale filled the wide roles, and the absence of attackers Hulse, Commons, Porter and Davies left Luke Varney as the lone striker.
There was no Patrick Kisnorbo - the Australian international has been training with Derby but it seems the 28-year-old defender is now likely to sign for Crystal Palace.
Green scored but shot himself in the foot, and had to come off after 19 minutes at 1-0. In the 2nd half, our fine new £1m signing from Blackpool, Shaun Barker, was beaten on the left by Lester who squared for Bowden, one of six subs made by The Spirites at the interval, and he scored from close in. Six minutes from time, Robertson centred for Page to win it.
