The last time that the St Andrews announcer passed over the microphone, it was October. Birmingham City had just been taken over and the new chairman, Vico Hui, promised Blues fans an "exciting future". Fast forward 7 months, and it was the turn of Alex McLeish.
The manager professed his pride in the job that he had done at the club, and he declared that bright times lay in wait for the team and the fans. Above all, he wanted to say thank you to the fans, and they responded in the only way that they know how, with a rousing rendition of Keep Right On...
