Things are looking up in the land of Die Roten. I’d like to qualify that statement by tagging on a “for now” to the end of the previous sentence, but I’m happy to not beat up on my beloved club for, at least, a little while.

And I say this despite watching the painful 90 minutes against Maccabi Haifa. It was much easier to watch Bordeaux beating up on Juventus, allowing us a chance to get through to the next round in the Champions League. The Haifa - Bayern match reminded me, a lot, of the Austria - Germany match I attended during EURO ‘08. Once we scored, I just paced and prayed for the final whistle. I’ve never spent so much money on something I wanted to be over.

Most everyone has agreed that all we’ve needed to do is start scoring goals. Mueller, Olic and Gomez scoring against Hannover over the weekend has brought a sigh of relief to players, coaches and Bayern fans all over the world.

Louis van Gaal, who’s kept his job, for now, will start the same line-up, against Gladbach, that’s worked for him these past two matches. But, while not completely fit, expect the shiny Dutchman to be trotted out after the half. It’ll be nice to see him back in action. I'll try to keep a smile on my face wile I watch this one....

Auf geht’s Bayern!

From nothing was lost, yet, to we now have a chance to still win them all (that's too optimistic I know...) - BEST day of this season so far! JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
