I was happy to be wrong about the result of the Bayern-Juventus match--- to a point.

We definitely out-played and certainly out-classed Juventus in Wednesday’s match at the Allianz Arena. The first 45 minutes were by far the best that Die Roten’s played this season. Juve had no answer for “Robbery” and was reduced to some very hard tackles to stop the incessant attack of the Bayern midfield. (Does anyone else think Camoranesi should have been red-carded?)

The only, if I may say, glaring piece of the puzzle missing…

What has happened to our strikers? Besides them not, errrr…. striking?

Gomez, Klose and Ribery all missed absolute sitters. Even young Mueller is not exempt from this group. Sigh. It’s very hard to comprehend how a team with this much offensive talent can be held scoreless for 180 minutes.

When I watch Bayern play on TV, my friends tell me I’m generally more entertaining to watch than the match itself. I hop about. I pace. I swear. In German and English.

Best line out of my mouth on Wednesday:

“FINISH HIM!!!!”

Apt, no?

Sucks that Robben is out for the next couple of weeks, but mueller is looking good - i can't believe this guy is only 20 years old. he has a bright future ahead of him...

Another Gard Muller in the name of the young star Thomas Muller. This kid is awesome.I can't believe he's from the reserve team.He got pace, good passes ,scores, dribbles and can run for 90 minutes without a break.i have not seen this type of player for a long time.every team plays well against bayern but we won't stop scoring

Sandra, what did you. Think of Gerd's comments about the German National team strikers?

We played really good in the first half but not so much for the second. If our strikers don't start scoring, their performance will come back to hunt us; like it did against Hamburg.
I'm just glad the coach has FINALLY settled on one formation (4-3-3),that should bring some consistency.

As a devoted Juve fan,I was a little disappointed by the way we played... lucky to escape with a point. Bayern's looking good. Hey where's Luca Toni?

i think the referees have to look at the way the Italians play, which is so bad.

though the FCB is deadlock form now, but we make up, who last laugh, laugh the best.
